Islington Council Consultation – Proposed Gypsy and Traveller Site at Ronalds Road
Islington Council is currently consulting on a proposal for a Gypsy and Traveller site at Ronalds Road.
We are sharing this information to ensure residents are aware of the consultation. We are not the decision-making body and are not taking a position at this stage. However, Highbury Roundhouse intends to submit a response as an organisation.
Residents should submit their own views directly to Islington Council as part of the consultation.
Residents who wish to raise concerns or observations for Highbury Roundhouse to consider as part of its organisational response should email admin@highbury-roundhouse.org.uk by Friday 2 January 2026. Please note that any matters shared will be considered at the organisation’s discretion and may not be reflected in the final response.
Any questions about the proposal or the consultation process should be directed to Islington Council, using the contact details provided in the consultation material.
Residents may meet informally within the community building to discuss the consultation. There will be no charge for use of the space for this purpose, subject to availability. Highbury Roundhouse will not facilitate or coordinate these discussions. Any responses submitted to the Council must be made in a personal capacity and must not be made in the name of Highbury Roundhouse.
Tech, Tea and Biscuits
We are proud to announce our partnership with PPCP in delivering tech classes for over 55's. It is a drop in session and runs every Tuesday from 11am onwards. The session is designed to provide any tech assistance to anyone who needs it whether that be smart phone help to PC literacy.
