Ken-Bu-Kai Karate

Students learn how to defend themselves against a competitor and a potential assailant, with an array of blocks, punches, strikes, kicks, locks, sweeps and take downs.

All students and classes are taught in a traditional manner, and discipline is one of the most important aspects of our classes. The classes are safe and fun, and there is potential for the most able students to reach the highest level, and to compete internationally.

Student's progress and knowledge is increased when they successfully pass their gradings, and all successful candidates are recorded and registered in Japan.

The Ken-Bu-Kan school of Karate is a family run school and has been established since 1992.

The founder and chief instructor, Andy Michaelides has been training and competing since 1982 and is a both fully qualified instructors and examiner, with up to date First Aid training.
