The aim of this session is to help the children develop their innate musical and rhythmic sense, as a basis for their interest in music for the future, as well as to enhance their self-expression.

Skills of memory, concentration, co-ordination and confidence are also drawn out as we sing, clap, tap, jump stamp, and dance.

Not just to traditional children's music, but to songs and rhythms from around the world.

We work mostly as a group, but there is plenty of opportunity for individual performance, which, as they gain ability and confidence, most children adore!

By learning to share, wait their turn and tidy up, the children also develop useful social skills in a setting, which is educational, informal, friendly and good fun.
