The ensemble plays some of the short pieces by Bach, Mozart, Brahms and the like while working on a longer, and sometimes more difficult, piece throughout the term for a play-through at the end of term.

Highbury Strings is friendly and relaxed. It seeks to accommodate players who are still learning while at the same time providing music that appeals to accomplished players.
Our conductor is Tom Whitehouse, a gifted musician who has been associated with amateur orchestras for many years.
We have room for more players, so give a thought to joining us.
